Current Roles & Responsibilities

I am currently working as Senior Art Director/Designer on a UX team at a Denver design agency. I am lead creative for our major accounts, internal branding and marketing efforts. In addition to my day job, I am an instructor in design programs for two local colleges in Denver—Metro State College Of Denver and Rocky Mountain School of Art + Design.

Professional Motivations

I am inspired by all of the rapid changes in ways people consume and interact with content. I look to principles such as responsive design, progressive enhancement and natural interfaces for sources of inspiration. I enjoy turning ideas and requirements into enjoyable and cool user experiences that position brands as modern, relevant and useful.

A Bit More Personal

I view almost everything as a growth opportunity. Not only do I follow blogs, podcasts and participate in industry events, I also value the importance of life experiences. I enjoy cycling and often find myself in the saddle for hours—those are often the times I stretch my thoughts further than my daily influences which leads me to transcending trends and writing new chapters in my contribution to our evolving landscape of user interfaces.
